Xaviera gallopped into the now stranded park, hot and dry, dirtier than ever, no life except for her and a sudden flashback came to mind..
Flashback starts----------------------------------
A large shadow shifted through trees, and glanced over a small pond, and it belonged to Xaviera, a large mutt. Her weight stood at a solid 200 pounds, and she was a massive dog. She consisted of the agile Husky, the large and giant Great Dane, and the fluffy and blue tongued Chow. She paced through the seemingly peaceful park, not really in any particular mood, but looking for something to do. Her pace was a long gait, which took her ghastly down the cobblestone path she resided on, and without panting even the slightest bit.
Humans walked by with their purebreds, and their children, shrieking at the size of the stray, looking at her as if she was some kind of un-seen monster. They shooed her away, but Xaviera replied with comments such as a snap, growl or a, Wadda` you lookin` at? they shrieked some more, and ran away like the idiots they were. she laugh profoundly, it amused her very easily.
With large everything, it was easy to make human aware of your presence, so she had fun tormenting the easily scared ones. Eyeing people sitting at benches, she found a man, sitting reading the paper, and drinking a beverage that smelled like coffee. He didn’t seem to notice Xaviera yet, but he would soon enough.
Others watched the dog, gallop up to them man, but did not say a word, only watched, scared to death of what the femme may do. Audits pinned to her skull, she snarled at the man. He yelled words and shooed her away with his newspaper. Silly man..
Xaviera launched at the newspaper, clenching it with her enormous teeth and ripping out of his small hands. She then managed to whip the coffee out of his hands with her tail, spilling all over his suit. Crying, and screaming in horror, all guests fled from the park. Benches, swings, playgrounds, all empty, and silence filled the crisp air.
Smiling in satisfaction, Xaviera yawned slightly, then made her self comfy on the bench the man had been on earlier. Yawning yet again, she set her large head on her paws and eyed the park, making sure she was alone. She again waited for something else to happen, for someone else to come and amuse her...
Flashback ends----------
She knew this park when humans did exist, but now, nothing did. Except for mutts. She missed terrorizing humnans ever so much, and she sighed in sadness as she climbed up on the bench where she had chased the man away from, his scent still lingered there, but faintly. Sighing again, she set her head on her paws, and kept one eye open, just to watch any bypassers, but she appeared sleeping.
