Spearmint padded into the territory her feed paws making small imprints in the sand where she was walking. She stood by the waters edge and lifted her head to the sky and clouds. She lifted her head high and let out a loud call for dogs that needed a pack.
She sat down and waited, waited for anything. She needed new members and that was true she had no members and she needed a lot of members, for things like wars against other pack and many other things.
Spearmint grinned to herself the sun was setting and it was getting to be really beautiful.

The setting sun glowed against her fur as the sunset for the night. To taffy, sunsets were the most wonderful thing in the world.
Taffy was sad, she felt like an outside to everyone around were. the last time she was at this beach a little pup named Fire and a wolf named sakila were there with her put she didn't manage to make any friends, but now she was here along,so she thinked. Taffy started to sing the song that her mother had taught her, "On with the wind" "cross the s..." taffy was interuped by a loud howl.

Spearmint grinned to herself as she heard the sound of howling, her howling echo through the beach. She laid down and sighed facing the sunset. She looked behind her there was none there yet. She really did need some new members or she would be in trouble. A lot of trouble.
Spearmint listened carefully her ears alert. There was the sound of singing in the distance and then it was stopped abruptly. Probably by the echo of her howl. She looked back and saw nothing but there was the shadow of a figure a couple feet away. She smiled to herself. They would have to come to her.

Taffy followed the sound to the person who made it, it was another dog. Taffy wasn't sure if it was safe or not but decided to take a chance. She slowly made her way towards the setting sun to say hi to the other person.
"What if she doesn't like me" Taffy thought as she got closer and closer, but it was to late to think about it because she was practicly ontop of the other dog.
"hello" Taffy said in a friendly way, while waiting for a responce she sat down to face te beautiful setting sun

Spearmint waited and her ears lifted a small amount as she herd the soft sound of paws on the ground as a dog neared her. She smirked to herself and waited for the dog to speak before she did that was the way that she worked and this is how it would almost always be other than when she talked to herself which was often.
She turned around slowly and stood up to face the small dog. It was a lot shorter than her and she smiled down at it. She towered over her and did not want to seem mean, or scary in that fact. She looked down at her still smiling,
“Hello, my names Spearmint. Who are you?”
she asked, trying to be as friendly to the dog as she could.

“I’m taffy” she replied looking down at her paws, no matter how she tried, she always got dirty. Taffy was not much of a people person so she wasn’t sure what else to say. “This is a beautiful sun set” taffy thought looking up to the setting sun before her. Where she used to live she never saw the sunset, after dinner all she saw was the various types of foods in the pantry.

Spearmint eyed her up and down, Ice blue eyes watching her every move. She smiled again.
“No need to be nervous I don’t bite….bad”
she said laughing more to herself than to the pup. She shook her head and calmed herself.
“Sorry,”
she muttered this almost in a whisper she hated the word and barley even said it.
Spearmint looked over her again.
“As you should know I am Spearmint alpha of The Shopping Mall and of this whole city of dogs”
she snickered and looked at the dog again and smiled. She wanted her in her pack before anyone got her first.
